Windows System Engineer in IT Operations 40-60% (m/f/d) - Windows Server/Active Directory/System Center/PowerShell/IT Operations

We are looking for an experienced Windows System Engineer (m/f/d) for our client on a part-time basis (40-60%) (924688JP). In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering, stable operation, and monitoring of Windows-based server systems in a professional IT operations environment. You will work closely with other operations teams, analyze malfunctions, automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, and ensure high availability and performance of the systems.

Responsibilities:
• Engineering, operation, and monitoring of Windows-based server environments
• Operation, maintenance, and further development of Microsoft Active Directory (user, group, policy, and rights management)
• Operation and engineering of Microsoft System Center (e.g., SCOM/SCCM) for system administration and monitoring
• Creation and maintenance of complex PowerShell scripts for automating operational processes
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and monitoring in an IT operations environment (2nd/3rd level, depending on experience)
• Participation in infrastructure projects and continuous optimization of the existing system landscape
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders and, if necessary, external service providers, documentation of changes and incidents
• Participation in agile teams (e.g., using JIRA for ticket and task management)

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Windows System Engineer or Windows Administrator
• Solid experience in the engineering, operation, and monitoring of Windows Server systems
• Experience in the operation and engineering of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft System Center (e.g., SCOM/SCCM)
• Knowledge of complex scripting with PowerShell (automation, analysis, maintenance)
• Independent, structured, and reliable work style, as well as a strong service orientation
• Team spirit and willingness to assume responsibility in ongoing operations

Education:
• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (EFZ) or comparable technical training

Languages:
• German (native speaker/fluent)
• At least B1 level in English (technical communication in spoken and written form)
