Senior Consultant - Tax Technology and Transformation
Your contribution to KPMG
- Supporting with the implementation and delivery of Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) projects across all areas of compliance, which can extend to actual delivering of local tax/finance filings in Switzerland
- Assisting with the deployment of technological solutions, such as Digital Gateway (KPMG's worldwide data, workflow, and analytics platform) and KBAT (BEPS Pillar 2 engine), to enhance the provision of our GCMS Solutions Preparation and participation in Tax Reimagined Discovery Workshops with target clients
- Assist in the design, implementation and delivery of tax transformation solutions ranging from full tax operating model reviews to looking at specific aspects such as redesigning processes, establishing controls frameworks, upskilling & change management and technology implementations (tax engines, e-invoicing, Pillar II, OTP, etc.)
- Project management of the day-to-day governance of Tax Reimagined projects including liaising with international clients and KPMG overseas teams and resolution of issues
- Overseeing output of offshore resource to deliver client projects
- Coordinating regular governance meetings to update clients on project status, risks and opportunities
- Support the business development process to progress Tax Reimagined leads to sales
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients
- Operate as an anchor for our wider KPMG services to your clients - bringing in specialist teams from both Switzerland and the wider network to support on additional opportunities.
- Understand the impact of tax & statutory legislative changes to keep clients abreast of changes and the impact on key processes
This is what makes you successful
- Experience in Tax Services ideally within a Big Four or consulting professional services firm, or in a corporate in-house role
- In-depth knowledge of Swiss tax business models, processes, requirements, and regulations.
- A proven track record in Tax Compliance and finance filings
- Expertise in implementing tax technology solutions and an affinity for technical tools, or willingness to learn
- Ability to lead tax workshops and manage transformation projects, or willingness to learn
- Strong project management skills, focusing on client service and team coordination
- Business development skills to effectively convert leads into sales, is beneficial
- Exceptional relationship management and a current understanding of the impact of tax legislation
