1. About the Role
This position plays a critical role in enabling effective delivery of HR strategy by supporting the planning, coordination, and monitoring of HR strategic and operational projects. The Manager acts as the central coordination point for HR-wide initiatives, ensuring consistent project tracking, data reporting, and executive preparation across the function.
The role also supports reporting on the HR scorecard and delivery dashboard, prepares data and reports for management review, and contributes to process improvement initiatives that strengthen execution, collaboration, and accountability across HR.
The role works closely with the HR Leadership Team, and project owners across all HR workstreams — including HR Services, Compensation and Benefits, and Talent Management — as well as cross-functional partners in Finance, IT, and Communications.
The core mission of this role is to enhance HR’s operational excellence and impact by ensuring that all strategic HR initiatives are well-planned, tracked, and communicated through data-driven reporting, streamlined processes, and effective coordination across teams.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and monitor HR strategic projects: Support the Head, HR Operations and Strategic Projects in planning, tracking, and following up on all HR projects; maintain an integrated view of timelines, dependencies, and key milestones across more than 10 active HR workstreams.
• Support data preparation and HR scorecard reporting: Collect, analyse, and validate project and performance data to feed into the HR scorecard and delivery dashboard; ensure high-quality reporting through advanced use of Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
• Strengthen project governance and execution: Develop and maintain tools, trackers, and templates that improve project management consistency; anticipate needs and potential bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to enable timely delivery.
• Drive communication and executive preparation: Prepare presentations, talking points, and reports for leadership meetings (HRLT, CPEO briefings, cross-departmental steering groups), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and strong visual communication through PowerPoint and AI tools such as Copilot.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and efficiency: Coordinate with HR leads, finance, and other corporate functions to ensure project alignment and knowledge sharing; support continuous improvement in processes and workflows that drive collective impact.
• Support strategic analytics and process improvement: Contribute to HR analytics and diagnostic reviews to inform decision-making; identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and use of digital tools to enhance HR operations.

3. Your Experience and Skills
Years and Type of Experience:
• Typically, 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in HR project management or HR operations, ideally within an international or matrix organization. Experience coordinating large-scale HR initiatives, managing data reporting processes, and supporting senior leaders through analytics and communication deliverables. Experience with HR scorecards, KPI dashboards, or OKR frameworks.
Education and Qualifications:
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Project Management or Data Analytics certification (e.g., PMP, Power BI, Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent professional training would be an asset.
Technical and Functional Skills:
Must Have:
• Advanced project management and coordination – Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, track milestones, and ensure project governance in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Data analytics and reporting expertise – Mastery of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modelling) and ability to prepare dashboards and insights; Power BI or similar analytics tools a strong asset. Familiarity with HR systems (Sales Force, Sage People, Workday).
• Process improvement and problem-solving – Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose practical improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Executive communication and presentation – Excellent PowerPoint design, synthesis, and writing skills to prepare materials for leadership; strong command of English and ability to convey complex data simply.
• Digital and AI tool proficiency – Comfort using productivity and AI-enhanced tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint, Teams) to streamline data management and reporting.
• Stakeholder coordination – Collaborative approach to engaging with diverse HR and business partners, demonstrating influence without authority.
Languages Needed:
• Required: Fluency in English (written and spoken). Working knowledge of French or another official language of the organisation would be an asset.
