SD-WAN Engineer

Location: Remote (EU-based, preferably nearshore to Germany)
Contract: 12 months (extension possible)
Primary Focus: Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) | Network Security | SD-WAN

We are supporting a leading client in Germany on a high-impact security transformation program and are looking for an experienced Network Security Consultant to join the team.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA & ZPA (deployment, integration, and support).
• Expertise in network security design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of cloud security architectures and zero-trust model.
• Proven ability to work in distributed/remote teams.

➕ Good-to-Have Skills

• VMware VeloCloud (SD-WAN)
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi
• AAA solutions (CyberArk preferred)
• Out-of-Band Management (Uplogix)
• F5 Load Balancer
• Palo Alto Firewall

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead and support Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) implementation and optimization.
• Contribute to the design, rollout, and troubleshooting of network security solutions.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders on network & cloud security architecture.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing operations.
