As a Team Lead in the Application Platform Department, you will play a key role in the leadership team, fostering collaboration across SIX’s global teams. You will lead a dedicated product team comprising Platform Engineers and Subject Matter Experts, responsible for our enterprise File Transfer Platform. This platform empowers Business IT teams to develop and operate mission-critical applications that support international financial markets 24/7.

The team is the hub for Managed File Transfer competencies, with an international setup in Spain, France, and Switzerland. We are seeking a Teamleader with strong Product Owner and management experience to deliver high-quality production and test platforms, support regular agile releases, and ensure stable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

What You Will Do

Lead and develop a distributed team of engineers across 3 locations, managing 10 direct reports

Ensure secure and stable operations of our MFT platform by implementing robust monitoring, proactive incident management, and continuous improvement practices

Drive MFT roadmap and backlog with stakeholders, define team KPIs, and ensure stable, cost-effective, and timely delivery of strategic initiatives

Shape team culture, improve agile ways of working, and lead automation efforts to reduce manual work and boost efficiency

What You Bring

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with a strong customer focus

Proven leadership experience managing diverse, multi-location teams, with willingness to travel 2–3 times per year for team engagement

Good technical understanding of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions such as Axway or IBM-MFT, along with general knowledge of storage, networking, security, Linux infrastructure, and automation
