In this role, you will support Numab's therapeutic pipeline by ensuring timely and high-quality R&D execution. You will coordinate the project team to meet objectives and manage project plans effectively. As a part of the Project and Alliance Management team, you will work closely with multiple functions to advance our therapeutic candidates.
- Establish comprehensive project plans, ensure accurate activity planning, and resource allocation in collaboration with team members and in accordance with company strategy.
- Organize and lead project meetings, presenting agendas, budgets, and options to project teams and management.
- Monitor project progression, identify risks and opportunities, and implement risk mitigation strategies while communicating changes, issues, and decisions to stakeholders.
- Understand drug development requirements and challenges, evaluate research concepts, consolidate and interpret data, analyze competitor data, and keep the project focused on medical needs.
- Align project team members, line functions, and third-party contractors to deliver results on time, at appropriate quality and cost.
- Prepare, oversee, and control project budgets in collaboration with corporate finance and R&D functions, ensuring adherence to project management tools and practices.
- Experience in research and pre-clinical development of inflammation and/or oncology therapeutic candidate compounds.
- Understanding of the drug development process.
- Minimum of 3 years project management or leadership experience in the life sciences, preferably in the biotech or pharma industry.
- Hands-on experience in key functions of early drug development is beneficial (e.g., antibody engineering, pre-clinical research, toxicology, bio-analytics, translational, manufacturing, early clinical development – inflammation/oncology).
- Experience in digital transformation and change management, ensuring smooth transitions and technology adoption across teams, is an asset.
- Financial knowledge to plan, maintain, and oversee complex project budgets.
- Proficiency in project management practices, tools, and methodology to manage project timelines and adapt to change; project management training or certification is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality.
- Exceptional clarity, logic, and to the point communication adapted to audience / stakeholders.
- Good listener, fast learner with exceptional ability to understand and simplify complex problems, identify and prioritize key issues, and devise pragmatic solutions while keeping the big picture and goal in mind.
- Self-motivated with the desire to help and achieve, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English; German is a plus.
