Your role

As Senior VMware System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are responsible for the operation and engineering of on premise ESXi infrastructure (including HW - servers and storage) and ensure efficient and stable operations.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and expansion of ESXi systems, as well as their basic infrastructure (storage and hardware)
• Ensure proper life cycle management of the managed services
• Participate in the conception and implementation of projects, as well as further development and optimization of the existing infrastructure
• Providing second level support within the existing support organization
• On-Call Support 

Your profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
• 5+ years of practical experience within VMware environment in the field of ESXi administration in large enterprises
• Basic knowledge in the area of Linux (RHEL) is required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Fluency in English, German is a plus
