SCHURTER is looking for a new team member of his leadership team in EMEA with customer focus. In this role you will set the direction for the R&D Team and make sure they deliver the innovation goals together with the business team. As part of the leadership team we offer you different development opportunities.

Your challenges

• Lead and oversee operations across EMEA (manufacturing, supply chain and procurement)

• Set short and long-term goals/directions and support the global strategy

• Implement strategic initiatives (process optimization, operational efficiency & cost reduction)

• Manage optimization projects, coordinating activities across multiple locations

• Develop and execute operational strategies to meet or exceed performance targets and KPIs

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the operations team

• Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal/external stakeholders

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to teams across multiple locations, driving engagement and accountability.

• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform operational decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

• Travel within Europe as required, approximately 50% or more mostly during work weeks.

Your qualifications

• University degree in mechanical and/or electromechanical engineering

• Broad experience of in manufacturing, supply chain management, component procurement

• Senior leadership role in a similar function with intercultural competence

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategies

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Hands-on mentality with data-driven decision making

• In-depth expertise in product technology and process technology

• Excellent communication with ability to influence and inspire teams on all levels

• Independent working ability with strong ownership to deliver results

• Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration

• Willingness to travel extensively in Europe

• Fluent in English, with basic proficiency in German or French preferred
