Mid/Senior UI Designer with focus on Design Systems

EF’s group Signum is looking for a Mid/Senior UI Designer to join its Global Creative Studio in Zurich. In this role, you’ll be at the center of the team at EF that is responsible for the EF brand; sets the creative bar, provides oversight, direction and tools that raise the quality of EF's global identities, design, messaging, and marketing; and all the while defining and maintaining the full database of EF's intellectual property worldwide.

As a Figma Wizard, you'll be working closely with our UX Designers and Developers to design, build and maintain our global Design System. At times, you'll also get to work on designing beautiful, functional and innovative websites and landing pages.

What you’ll do:

· Continue to bring visual excellence, consistency and innovation to our Design System’s UI Libraries and documentation

· Create, manage and upgrade components to keep up-to-date with Figma standards (variables and modes / properties / prototyping...)

· Collaborate with UX Designers, engineers and other creatives to bring new features to life

· Interact with other Product Teams to understand their needs and propose relevant, on-brand Design solutions

· Stay informed about design trends, competitors, and industry best practices to continuously improve the brand's visual presence

You have:

· 5+ years of professional design experience at an agency, design firm or in-house creative team

· Spent most of your career in digital, ideally with a focus on e-commerce and digital advertising/marketing and have a portfolio showcasing this experience

· Excellent taste with a sense of emerging design trends and a passion for innovating them

· A strong attention to detail

· A passion for design and user experience

· An ability to align design decisions with overall brand strategy and business goals

· Strong verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and present ideas to stakeholders

· A strong attention to detail

· Solid experience and skills working with Figma

· Positive and pro-active problem solving skills
