We are looking for a :

Senior Accountant 100%

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day accounting transactions activities (Bank, AP, GL etc) by meeting closing deadlines

  • Play an active role in the month, quarter and year-end close

  • Book supplier invoices & payroll entries using the accurate cost centers

  • Travel expenses verification, processing, accounting for and payment management

  • Manage payment run (preparation, documentation, payments)

  • Ensure the accuracy of the accounts payable & bank accounts

  • Perform accounts payable and general ledger reconciliations

  • Manage and book all payroll entries and perform monthly and YTD reconciliations with GL and Payroll provider information.

  • Ensure compliance with internal control system

  • Ensure timely and compliant VAT submissions (CH & EUROPEAN)

  • Ensure timely and compliant tax submissions

  • Play an active role during Audit

  • Participate in ad hoc projects for the accounting department

  • qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in finance and accounting or equivalent accounting qualification

    • At least 8 years of accounting experience in a similar position

    • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, US GAAP knowledge required

    • Self-motivated, operates with a sense of urgency and demonstrates high learning agility

    • Attention to detail, ability to keep deadlines and set priorities.

    • Ability to work independently and in an International environment

    • Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges

    • Ability to listen, to communicate efficiently with all levels of the organization

    • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and aptitude for accounting software, knowledge of SAP and Hyperion

    • Experience in working in a fast growing and changing environment is a plus, Software industry experience is a plus

    • Fluent in English and French
