Junior Relationship Manager

The Junior Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between the client and the Bank. He/she acts externally as an ambassador for the Bank and is internally a role model. The Junior Relationship Manager is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of High Net Worth private clients. This entails the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the clients’ needs as well as dealing with routine enquiries and transactions. Professionalism and responsiveness are key. Acquisition of new client relationships through his/her network is an additional, integral element of the role. He/she is also responsible to deliver clients’ feedback regarding products and services to the relevant specialists within the Bank in order to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation in line with market trends.

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Proactively develops and maintains a portfolio of High Net Worth clients

  • Responds to all client needs in a timely and professional manner

  • Provides appropriate investment advice in line with the Bank’s policy and asset allocation

  • Ensures consistently high levels of client satisfaction by matching the frequency and intensity of contact to the clients preference

  • Continuously deepens client relationships and optimises revenues through the acquisition of additional share of wallet / cross-selling

  • Works in a team (including the appropriate use of specialists) to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to the clients

  • Acquires new client relationships through own network and from the existing client base

  • Complies with all standards, policies, guidelines and regulations (Julius Baer specific and financial industry)

  • Develops and implements new marketing strategies in conjunction with the Team Head / SCE

  • Embraces new processes and product initiatives

  • Participates in ad hoc projects as required by the Team Head

Professional and Technical

  • Relevant higher educational and professional background e.g. FH, HWV, University or Bank apprenticeship

  • Fluent in French and English; another language would be an asset

  • Sound knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs

  • Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions

  • Sound commercial judgement, represents the Bank’s and the shareholders’ interests at all times
