Our Geneva office is currently looking for a law clerk assistant / paralegal to join our legal team in Geneva.
Activity rate at 80% - 100% - Entry date: as soon as possible
Your assignments and tasks will include:
- Supporting and collaborating with our law clerk on her daily duties, such as:
- Handling incoming and outgoing legal correspondence
- Keeping track of deadlines and following up
- Monitoring and reporting on FAO - FOSC
- Providing support on various legal procedures
- Drafting and updating internal procedures
- Supporting the paralegal practice, particularly in the areas of immigration law, debt collection and bankruptcy law, but also in corporate law, banking and finance law:
- Dealing with work and residence permit applications, naturalization requests and other immigration procedures / formalities
- Working on debt collection and bankruptcy cases, such as preparation of proceedings requests, following up on interruption date, helping in the firm's debt collection procedures
- Dealing with corporate secretariat duties such as: preparation of meetings, contacts with registries/administrations and notaries, preparation of corporate documentation, management of templates/forms, drafting of minutes.
We are looking for candidates to meet the following criteria:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Swiss law (law clerk diploma or CAS: a plus)
- You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in a legal environment
- You pay attention to detail, are meticulous, open-minded and have strong organizational and coordination skills
- French is your mother tongue, you have a very good command of English (B2/C1)
- You are a team-player, reliable and have a positive attitude.
