Join our team in the R&D department for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) as a (Senior) Engineer High Voltage Switchgear 80-100% (f/m/d)
You will act as the technical conscience of our GIS product portfolio by being responsible for our product master data.

Your responsibilities
Managing of small development projects
Responsibility for products from our GIS portfolio
Elaboration of innovative product solutions following standards, design rules, guidelines, and internal processes.
Ensure quality of suppliers, production locations and parts
Collaborate with globally distributed partners e.g. R&D Centers, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Production Lines, Sales.
Analyze and solve interdisciplinary problems in test laboratories and in production lines.
Your background
Mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, physicist or closely related fields with at minimum a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience in a related field
Apprenticeship as a designer is a plus
High voltage switchgear experience is desirable but not a must
Ability to work well in a multicultural, multidisciplinary and globally distributed team.
Creative, independent and solution-oriented approach
Software skills or open to acquiring them (MS Office, 3D CAD, ERP, …)
Good knowledge of English and German
