Working on some of the most important and high-potential properties in our HQ in Zug, we are looking for a sports-passionate Sponsorship Sales Manager (m/w/x) to start as soon as possible. 

In this exciting role you will be part of the centralised sponsorship sales team and working closely with various stakeholders locally and abroad. You will be responsible for selling partnerships and building a solid network of relationships with brands and local agencies in target markets around the world. 

Your main tasks

  • Pursue and secure new sponsorship sales with a strong focus on international Ice Hockey, Handball and Curling properties (IIHF, CHL, EHF, WCF), expanding beyond existing clients, agencies and contacts

  • Proactively manage the sponsorship sales process with each initiative to ensure financial and marketing goals are met

  • Work in tandem with Marketing Sales Services and account teams to support the development of innovative sponsorship sales strategies proposals

  • Oversee the negotiation and execution of all aspects of contractual agreements related to sponsorship's

  • Identify market trends and business needs to contribute to the development of sales strategies

  • Work with account management teams to ensure first-class client servicing

Your profile

  • Advanced education (university degree, preferably in business, marketing, advertising or equivalent related event)

  • Minimum five years sponsorship sales experience required and preferred expertise in selling international sponsorship's (experience in Winter sports, especially Ice Hockey is a plus)

  • Deep working knowledge of the sales process and a strong general sales acumen, as well as superior relationship development and account management skills

  • Ability to flawlessly and dynamically present our value proposition to an audience

  • Knowledge and/or strong network of Nordic / Eastern Europe brands is an advantage?

  • Distinct sales and negotiation competencies

  • Open personality with a confident appearance, self-driven as well as closing power and negotiating skills

  • High cultural awareness and affinity to languages
