Do you want to revolutionize medium-voltage converters used in wind power generation to decarbonize the world? We are looking for a product owner with expertise on leading and managing the backlog of software development team to join our world-leading R&D team working on medium-voltage wind converters. This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of requirements engineering to convert business requirements into software requirements
  • Responsible for planning the product increments and providing feedback to the overall roadmap of the product
  • Work with stakeholders and understand the priorities of the backlog and provide periodic updates on the progress
  • Understand the needs of the project in terms of resources and competences
  • Work with line management to ensure a proper staffing of the team
  • Responsible for software testing strategy of the product to improve the test coverage of the product
  • Ensure cyber security and quality requirements of the product are fulfilled
  • Leading and guiding the team to achieve the targets

 

Your background

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • More than 10 years of experience in leading Embedded or PC system software projects
  • At least 3 years of experience in working with Xilinx SoC
  • Experience in leading more than one scrum team as Product owner
  • Significant experience in the programming language C++ is required
  • At least 3 years of experience in working with applications like wind converters or electrical drives is required
  • Good command of English is required, German language skills are beneficial
  • Prior experience in working with industry standard communication protocol like OPC UA
  • Prior experience in certifying products for cyber security standard like IEC62443
  • Flexibility to travel to lead a global R&D team
