Digital Project Manager

To strengthen our Business Process Management team, we are looking for a Digital Project Manager with strong BPM skills and partial Product Ownership capabilities. Your mission: analyse, document, optimise, and digitally transform business processes end-to-end — and lead the projects that turn these improvements into scalable, technology-driven solutions.

Your Mission
As a Digital Project Manager in our BPM team, you focus on process excellence, cross-functional alignment, and high-impact project delivery. You analyse how we work today, design how we should work tomorrow, and drive the execution of initiatives that bring measurable improvements to our organisation.
You ensure that processes, systems, and data flows work seamlessly together — and you take on Product Ownership responsibilities for some of our internal tools, ensuring its roadmap supports efficient operations.

Your Responsibilities
Process Analysis & BPM Excellence
- Analyse, map, and document business processes end-to-end
- Structure workflows using BPM best practices (e.g. BPMN, SIPOC, RACI, Value Streams)
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with teams across the company to validate, challenge, and redesign processes
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date, centralised, and accessible
Process Design & Optimisation
- Redesign processes to improve efficiency, scalability, compliance, and data quality
- Align process changes with business goals, system capabilities, and organisational constraints
- Ensure harmonisation of cross-departmental workflows (f.e. Business Performance → Business Operations → Customer Care → Finance)
- Support teams in adopting new workflows and ensure no process exists only "in theory"
- Work closely with the Product & Development Team to align the process with the products
Project Leadership Across the Organisation
- Lead cross-functional projects from discovery to implementation
- Translate improvement opportunities into clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Ensure alignment with C-Level, stakeholders, and operational teams
- Coordinate with FE/BE developers, QA, Design, and Business Units for execution when needed
- Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Measure project impact with clear KPIs and ensure results are durable
Discovery & Requirements Engineering
- Collect and structure business requirements across departments
- Break down processes into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Validate technical feasibility together with Product Manager, Engineering and the CTO
- Ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
Product Ownership (potential plus)
- Maintain and prioritise the backlog of internal tools or workflow products
- Ensure user needs and operational realities are reflected in the roadmap
- Align features with process improvements and system architecture
- Coordinate rollouts and support change management
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Impact
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Operations and the C-Level
- Facilitate workshops, process reviews, and decision sessions
- Communicate timelines, risks, and results clearly across the organisation
- Ensure continuous feedback loops and incorporate learnings into new workflows
Ownership & Leadership Growth
- Take full ownership of BPM initiatives and drive them from conception to successful implementation
- Build expertise and credibility in Business Process Management to become the go-to expert in the organisation
- Grow into a leadership role with the opportunity to own and shape the BPM function as it evolves
- Mentor and guide others in process excellence and best practices
- Define and establish BPM standards, methodologies, and frameworks for the entire company
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Business Process Management, Business Analysis, or Process Consulting
- Strong experience in digital project management in cross-functional environments
- Familiarity with BPM best practices (BPMN 2.0, SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, RACI, RACIQ, etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset — you can understand complex systems and break them down
- Technical understanding that allows you to collaborate confidently with Engineering & CTO
- Ability to manage and prioritise a product backlog
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working with tools like ClickUp, Figma and Google Workspace
- Hands-on mentality with a structured, pragmatic working style
- Strong ownership mindset with the ambition and potential to grow into a leadership role, taking full ownership of the BPM function
- Fluent in German and English
The Team Around You
You join the Business Process Management team, reporting directly to the CIO.
You work closely with the Product Management, CTO, Creative Director, and cross-functional leaders including the C-Level.
On the delivery side, you collaborate with our:

- Stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Operations
