We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Index Exotic Trading business. In this role, you will drive strategy, execution, risk management, and product innovation across index derivatives and exotic structures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and manage the Index Exotic Trading desk, including day-to-day risk, pricing, and execution
• Drive P&L growth through market-making, structuring opportunities, and strategic positioning
• Supervise risk limits, hedging strategies, and capital usage across a complex book
• Partner with sales, structuring, and research to deliver integrated solutions to institutional clients
• Lead development of new products across equity-linked notes, volatility & correlation strategies and structured index exposures
• Engage with compliance, model validation, and senior management to ensure regulatory and governance standards
• Mentor and develop junior traders, structurers, and quants
• Represent the business in internal governance forums and market discussions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 8+ years of experience in equity derivatives trading, with significant exposure to index exotics
• Demonstrated leadership in running a trading book with meaningful risk and P&L responsibility
• Expertise in volatility, correlation, dividends, structured products, and cross-asset hedging
• Strong quantitative background (e.g., mathematics, engineering, physics, quantitative finance)
• Proven ability to collaborate with structuring, sales, and risk functions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a strong advantage
