(Senior) Underwriter Cyber 80-100% (m/f/d)

We are looking to fill the position at our Lausanne or Zurich branch, starting immediately or by agreement:

Your key responsabilities:

• Underwriting cyber insurance for national and international companies
• Analysis of submissions, including risk assessment and evaluation, and preparation of quotations
• Negotiations with customers and brokersActive presence in the market, expansion and maintenance of the network and participation in events
• Proactively establishing and maintaining personal contact with brokers, customers and HDI branches worldwide
• Collaboration and/or management of product and marketing-oriented projects and cooperation with the HDI Specialties team worldwide

Your profile:

• Completed basic training in the insurance industry – further training at certificate/insurance diploma level or equivalent training is an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken German and English is required
• Proven experience in underwriting commercial cyber insurance
• Underwriting knowledge in other specialities/financial lines products is an advantage
• A flair for numbers and an affinity for IT
• Above-average commitment, an agile approach to work and flexibility
• Talent for organisation, strong communication skills, openness and a confident and convincing manner
• Strong team spirit combined with an independent, proactive and responsible approach to work
