For our client, an independent broker and adviser specialising in accounts receivable, we are looking for aÜber den Job
As Business Development Manager based in the German part of Switzerland and with a strong entrepreneurial and commercial spirit, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the development and management of client relationships, strategic partnerships, and insurance/bonding/factoring solutions. You will represent the Company and other Group entities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and commercial expansion across domestic and international markets.Key responsibilities :
Business development
- Lead Generation & Prospecting :
Identify and engage potential clients through targeted prospecting activities, networking, and market intelligence.
-Identify strategic issues related to prospect risk management, and propose tailored solutions:
Credit insurance, factoring, sureties, export financing, political risk, etc.
- Proposal & Quotation Delivery :
Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and insurance studies that meet clients/prospects needs and align with Company guidelines.
Client Relationship development
- Ensure the implementation of solutions in conjunction with internal teams (Account Management).
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients of the Company and other Group entities, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Contract Management (in relationship with our Account Management Team) :
Oversee the administration and renewal of insurance contracts, ensuring compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Coordination with Account Manager :
Collaborate closely with the local Account Manager to ensure seamless client servicing, operational efficiency, and alignment on strategic priorities.
Partner relations
- Strategic Partnerships :
Build and nurture relationships with banks, general insurance brokers, and other intermediaries to expand the Company’s commercial footprint.
- Insurer & Factor Negotiation :
Liaise with Swiss and international credit-insurers, factoring companies, and bonding institutions to negotiate insurance solutions or contract adjustments requested by clients/prospects.
Leadership
- Act as deputy to the Head of the Swiss subsidiary, assuming leadership responsibilities during his absence and ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making.
- Participate in and organize events and marketing activities to generate new business, improve client experience and promote the Group brand.
