We are reinforcing our Network Team in Bern and are seeking a new colleague
Network Operation Engineer at our HQ in Bern
To start work immediately or at a later date by agreement.
The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, and to holder of a valid Swiss work permit
Your main tasks
Support of our international mobile operator customers for Comfone’s IPX and roaming hub services
Handling of customer inquiries for troubleshooting, service performance analysis and reporting
Testing and documentation of customer services
Monitoring of Comfone international networks (SS7, Diameter, GRX) and service systems (STPs, DRAs, roaming hub)
On-call duty service for 24/7 emergency support
Your profile
Good communication skills with sensibility to an international environment
Technical education in telecommunications with knowledge of mobile networks
Experience with SS7, Diameter, GTP, DNS protocols, and roaming technology
English proficiency in both verbal and written communication. Other languages are a plus
Team spirit and willingness to do on-call duty service
Communicative, responsible and resilient individual with commitment
