For our client working in aviation and located at Basel Euroairport we are looking for several positions around the finalization of aircrafts.
• Start date: ASAP
• Planned duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
• Workplace: Basel Euroairport
• Workload: 100%
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Upholsterer:
• Define and participate with customer representatives to the design of the demo seat.
• Manufacture of seat foams using a CNC machine and creation of seat jigs.
• Cut and sew, with high degree of precision, leather, or other types of noble materials.
• Install seat covers, foam build up and perform various assemblies.
• Strip, clean and recover soft goods as headliner, window panel or decorative panel.
• Monitor work status project and report any non-conformities or damages.
Finisher:
• Prepare surfaces before any finishing application.
• Apply finishing on the cabinets and monuments (Varnish, paint)
• Perform touch-up on damaged material.
• Polishing of finish products
Cabin makers:
• Prepare surface materials for Laminate or wood veneers application.
• Cut and apply materials such as Laminate or wood veneers with glue spray gun to cover surfaces of cabinetry.
• Cut and bond moldings on straight and curved monuments.
• Perform assembly operations using 3D drawings.
• Install drawer-slides, hinges, latches, and other hardware in subassemblies, using hand-held and conventional equipment.
We are looking for qualified candidates that are either experience or willing to collect experience in the aviation industry and are able to work under high workload and still be a supportive and good teamplayer.
Must Haves:
• Min. finished education in either aviation industry or as carpenter, painter or upholsterer
• Experience in the aviation industry would be a big advantage
• As part of a team, you demonstrate a strong team spirit, always being supportive and collaborative with your colleagues.
• Experience with MS Office, SAP and ability to read 2D/3D plans on software
• Min. A2 Level in Englisch, German and French would be a plus
This contract is for 3 Months (might be extended) or even become permanent.
