Your responsibility
Detailed underwriting analysis of Energy accounts - review of risk engineering exposures, terms and conditions, pricing, capacity deployment
Determination of exposures, normal loss expectancies, maximum possible loss scenario
Evaluation and control of accumulations, including Natural Catastrophe Exposures
Negotiation of terms and conditions with brokers and clients with a clear focus on long term sustainability and profitability
Assuring compliance with Helvetia Group directives
Development of an extensive knowledge of the Energy Client and Broker network
Attendance at national and international client and broker meetings as well as site inspections and industry events where appropriate
Contribute to a motivated, agile, and determined team
Close cooperation with our claims department for large and complex claims
Your qualification
University degree, preferably in engineering, science-related or business-related discipline. A further commercial qualification (e.g. MBA) could be beneficial
Professional experience in Energy underwriting or in the underlying Energy industry
Strong analytical, negotiation and sales skills
Strong business acumen and good understanding of the underlying Energy insurance markets
Tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of own performance
Develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate to meet common goals
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
Proficiency in English, German knowledge is highly preferred
