The Position

This position is offered in the Clinical Development team within Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. The Clinical Development Team explores unmet medical needs and designs clinical development strategies and studies for diagnostic solutions and personalized healthcare. In your role you support the Clinical Development Leads to develop innovative diagnostic solutions in the area of Endocrinology, Neurology and OBGYN.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team with medical/scientific expertise to help developing novel diagnostics solutions

  • Performing literature , interpret and analyze publications, summarize findings in reports

  • Writing a wide range of medical and scientific documents

  • Collaborate with other functions as well as external experts on development programs

  • Support the team with the generation of target product profiles, and translation into analyticaland clinical product requirements

Who you are

  • You are currently enrolled as a Medical student or PhD student in a health-related scientificfield (e.g. health science, pharmacology) or have recently graduated in one of the fields above (within the last 12 months)

Furthermore you are:

  • You are interested to transfer your scientific and/or medical knowledge and your curiosity into the development of clinical diagnostic solutions

  • You have excellent communication and strong scientific writing skills

  • You are a team player, ideally with project management skills

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must, additional languages are an asset

Technical details:

The preferred start date for the internship is September 2024. Please state your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship in your application.

Part-time employment is not possible.

It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.

The application deadline is April 30th.

Interviews will take place in the second and third week of May (between 13th and 23rd May).
