Working within Group HR, our ambition is to effectively deliver business solutions and Strategic HR Priorities to enable our business to achieve their goals. As an HR Business Consultant you will support HR Business Partners with the delivery of strategic priorities, projects and complex operational issues. You will work directly with People Managers, providing advice and guidance, to ensure effective execution of core HR processes.
What you will do
You will work as part of the HR team supporting HR for Zurich Global Ventures (ZGV). This role requires a commercial, pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset. You need to demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, an ability to make complex things simple and agility in your ways of working.
Your main responsibilities are:
Support HR Business Partners and Business Leaders with the delivery of enterprise-wide projects, strategic initiatives and core people processes. (e.g. talent programs, restructuring, change programs)
Advise People Managers on all aspects of people management along the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, performance management, people development etc.)
Partner with Managers to drive performance and reward management, culture/DEIB/ wellbeing solutions
Execution of change management and strategic projects and initiatives
Support activities relating to hiring/ onboarding of senior executives
Advise and ensure specific employee cases are handled and compliance met
Develop business cases and materials to facilitate management decisions at the N-1 level.
Synthesize information, create and leverage data-driven insights to aid in business decision-making
Manage people projects and core people process delivery, ensuring clarity on tasks and coordinating activity with other interconnected topics
Implement and track KPIs for key initiatives on behalf of HR Business Partner
What you bring
+/- 10 years of professional experience within HR (HR Partnering, Consulting, Project Management) in a global, multicultural, fast-changing environment
Strong business partnering, influencing and collaboration skills
Strong focus on execution and delivery, understanding how to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks
Strategic and agile mindset combined with sound operational skills, and an ability to support change, displaying both persistence and resilience
Thrive on problem solving and navigating complex environments
Agile stakeholder management skills able to engage, motivate and energize
Team player, outcome- and solutions-oriented mindset
Strong self-motivation with keenness to engage with colleagues across regions and functions
Highly organized, structured approach to working
Data fluent with analytical capability
Strong business curiosity to understand different business needs & priorities
Fluent English, both oral and written
