Site Buyer IM&S

As a Site Buyer, you will support the indirect material, Capex, and services sourcing and contracting process for one or more specific site(s) to optimize cost following Global and Regional Category Strategies and procurement guidelines. You will be primary contact to site(s) for the operational and tactical sourcing of IM&S categories and collaborate with stakeholders, coordinate procurement activities for site.

You will report to the Procurement Manager IM&S FR & CH (FR).

In this exciting role, you will:

• Advise and assist site stakeholders in other functions in the evaluation and pricing of alternate materials.

• Identify and drive local/site cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities following Indirect Material and Services and business targets and business needs.

• Support main sites TCO reduction initiatives and packaging cost reduction initiatives.

• Support the global and regional category management teams in the roll-out of global and regional strategies within the site. This includes sourcing (including RFx's and e-auctions), pricing, rejections, supplier inventory, supply chain, obsolescence and resolving invoice discrepancies.

• Provide sourcing support to local site stakeholders and liaise with GBS as appropriate.

• Select vendors according to corporate assessment criteria (quality, financials, sustainability/responsible sourcing, risk etc.) consolidate preferred supplier base, close agreements.

• Initiate search for new or alternative materials or products

• Investigate and approve requests for vendor creation

• Solicit and analyses quotes, negotiate prices and delivery terms and investigate invoice discrepancies

• Implement global, regional and local agreements and support the financial targets as outlined by IM&S Procurement and the business.

• Conduct local negotiations with suppliers and ensure adequate contract cover within the portfolio and for spend as defined by the Head of Procurement IM&S EMEA and according to the Global Delegation of Authorities/Signatories policy.

• Review purchase requisitions/orders and other vendor related administrative workflows

• Participate in vendor's performance evaluation concerning quality of work, cost, timelines and other related parameters

• Ensure appropriate risk evaluation within the IM&S risk framework and implement mitigation actions while meeting our needs

• Facilitate sourcing and contracting issue escalation and resolution

• Report, Process Management & Delivery

• Support site and GBS teams on sourcing and contracting matters daily

• Be a first point of escalation for the site(s) towards GBS teams

• Maintain information in SAP

• Implement the IM&S processes and systems on the site following the global procurement guidelines

• Maintain existing catalogues and lead the implementation of new catalogues

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor and technician or engineering degree, Local Procurement or Commercial education

• 5 years' experience in a Procurement within an international environment,

• Preferable experience with Capex procurement

• Fluent English and French knowledge is mandatory

• Experience with procurement processes (e.g. SAP)

• Preferable Knowledge of packaging commodities

• Develop relevant recommendations and implementation plans in compelling way
