As an AI Engineer, you have the opportunity to co-create a new AI platform for the financial world from the ground up – from the initial idea to productive deployment. You will work on projects that have a direct impact on financial institutions and their customers.

Take responsibility for the solution design, development, and rollout of our new AI platform

Identify new use cases and translate them into concrete, AI-driven solutions

Develop and test prototypes to validate ideas early on with customers and stakeholders

Evaluate new technologies in terms of feasibility, maturity, and business value – and derive architectural and tooling decisions from them

Promote data-driven thinking and act as a driving force for AI innovation within the company

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience in building at least one market-relevant product or feature based on LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral)

Very strong Python skills, especially in the context of LLM applications

Hands-on experience with embedding models, vector databases, and RAG architectures

Enjoyment of iterative work, continuous learning, and experimentation

Experience working in interdisciplinary teams with Product Owners and Software Engineers

Industry knowledge in banking and an affinity for DevOps are a big plus

Fluent English, German is a big plus
