Junior Legal & Compliance Counsel

About the job

• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the compliance framework (AML/KYC, risk assessments, monitoring programs)

• Assist with the interpretation and application of Swiss and European financial regulations (e.g., FINMA guidelines, AMLA, MiCA)

• Help prepare compliance reports and regulatory filings for internal stakeholders and external authorities

• Contribute to the drafting and updating of internal policies and procedures

• Support onboarding and due diligence reviews (KYC/AML) of counterparties and clients

• Monitor regulatory developments in the crypto and fintech space

• Provide general legal and administrative support to the Legal & Compliance team

About the candidate

• Master of Law (MLaw) or equivalent from a Swiss university

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience (law firm, financial institution, regulator, or crypto startup)

• Strong understanding of Swiss financial regulation; interest in blockchain and fintech compliance is a plus

• Excellent command of German and English (written and spoken)

• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment

• Team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
