We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead -Agentic AI Platform & MCP to play a pivotal role in shaping Sunrise’s AI future. You will define and build the core IT systems that power our agentic AI strategy, from developing the platform itself to driving integration of existing applications with AI agents via MCP. Working across platform, engineering, business, and vendor teams, you will establish standards, enable scalable adoption, and support the delivery of impactful AI-driven solutions.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Define, establish, and maintain the standard MCP integration framework across BUILD (reference microservices, templates, reusable code assets) -- learnings from the Sunrise microservice framework and/or leveraging the Sunrise Agentic frameworks features
• Be the SME for MCP integrations, supporting our IT BUILD teams hands-on in implementing MCP servers for our internally developed and COTS applications (e.g., hands-on implementation, upskilling & onboarding)
• Lead technical design and evolution of the agentic AI platform for topics such as observability, cost allocation, access Governance, MCP configurations, domain configurations, etc.
• Define and maintain MCP gateway (together with our existing API gateway, 3scale) and other agentic AI platform sub-systems (e.g., LiteLLM, Langfuse, AI Guardrails, …)
• Enable developers to use MCP servers & Agentic AI platform (onboarding, documentation, development, tooling) across Sunrise business units
• Collaborate with ops, business, and vendors to align agentic AI delivery (e.g., MCP servers, Agentic AI platform upgrades, etc.)

YOUR SKILLS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as Tech Lead in complex environments, preferably telecommunications
• Experience with custom & off-the-shelf MCP servers
• Familiarity with AI/LLM platforms or agent-based systems
• Hands-on mindset with ability to translate architecture into implementable guidance
• Ability to understand complex systems end-to-end, from AI agent level down to the individual tools & API calls available to AI agents
• Experience defining engineering frameworks or platform standards
• Ability to guide and influence multiple teams without direct authority
