As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a mid level Communications Expert to join an international team on a 70-100% basis.
The is an option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date by 1 December.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels and from diverse backgrounds.
The team is a small, dynamic, multidisciplinary and multicultural team based in Basel, which coordinates the work of various centres around the global and the headquarters office in Basel.
Responsibilities will include driving number of promotional and communications related activities in close collaboration with other team members, such as events managers and other outreach advisors, as well as with departments e.g. Communications department, Meeting Services and IT Security
In addition you will be supporting a forthcoming summit and be responsible for the conceptualisation and implementation of:
* Event branding, webpage content, social media posts, announcements
* preparation of event programme, connecting the dots across the various programme topics and items
* Developing a narrative for the summit topics
* drafting and sending invitations to Governors, attendees and guests speakers.
* editing and layouting of posters
* support preparing presentations and feedback during rehearsals
* Support as requested in other areas of the Summit preparations or other events in the department
You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:
* Experience with marketing/promotional campaigns (e.g. preparation of communications/branding plans, worked on posters/banners etc)
* Experience in Communications department/event preparations or similar area
* Good stakeholder management and ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels and from diverse backgrounds
* Excellent English skills (ideally native speaker or C2 level). Excellent drafting skills
* Understanding of how organisations work, creating processes/plans for future events (ideally not only consultant background)
Please note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland. Our client offers:
