The facility benefits from a pleasant setting and a meaningful mission focused on supporting residents. Some members of the team demonstrate great professionalism and a real commitment to their work, which contributes to the smooth running of day-to-day operations despite a sometimes difficult context.
This could be improved
Unfortunately, the working environment is marked by constant pressure and an often tense climate. The lack of clear communication and the lack of recognition for our employees weigh heavily on motivation. There's a real disconnect between management and field teams, leading to frustration and demotivation.
The main challenge is management. We urgently need to review the way in which teams are managed, listened to and valued. A more humane management style that listens to employees, and more respectful managerial practices, are essential to restoring a healthy and lasting climate. Internal communication should also be strengthened, and strategic decisions more closely shared with the teams concerned.
The recruitment process was relatively smooth, but the expectations expressed during interviews do not always correspond to the reality once in post. It would have been useful to have a more honest presentation of working conditions and management, so as to better anticipate challenges.
