WAM Planer und Ingenieure AG is an independent, owner-managed engineering firm based in Solothurn and Bern. Around sixty employees provide planning and engineering services in four specialist areas: ‘Spatial Planning, Transport and Environment’, ‘Civil Engineering Infrastructure’, ‘Structural Engineering’ and ‘Timber Engineering’. Well-founded and synergistic. But also friendly and empathetic. And, of course, with a keen desire to innovate. Founded in 1974, the company has been a public limited company since it was taken over by four managing partners in 2010. In its anniversary year 2024, the shareholder structure and management team were expanded to include long-standing executives.
