Salary and benefits are good and at least the team within the department has good cohesion and helps where it can.

This could be improved

Since the gift stores were merged, management behavior has changed for the worse. Employees are no longer involved in decision-making processes and there is hardly any opportunity to contribute their own ideas. Due to the significantly reduced team size, the workload for the remaining staff is barely manageable.

Mismanagement - employees are simply rationalized or replaced by cheaper ones - the fact that know-how falls by the wayside and there is even more work for the remaining employees is accepted.
