A family-run but international company offers a good mix. Long-term orientated and also prepared to invest in future-oriented, innovative topics. Working with colleagues and customers from all over the world and different markets makes every day different and exciting. As a market-orientated company, product management (where I work) has a strong position in Baumer and my input and ideas are always taken seriously from the upper management. Within Baumer, the product management takes an important role working closely together with R&D, marketing, sales, order fullfilment, business operation and other roles/departments.

There is always room for improvement, even at Baumer. As is typical for companies that reach a certain size, it is a challenge to keep up the speed/pace while maintaining the processes for high-quality output (products, information, marketing, ...). Finding a good compromise and regulating neither too much nor too little is probably a lifelong process.
