I have to say, the experiences here in the public transport service at BLT are... very intense, in a negative way. I would describe working here more as a lifestyle. I was extremely tired all the time, at some point the coffee in the company became free. There are probably reasons for that. It's almost as if you voluntarily choose a job in which work is constantly in the foreground due to the shift system, among other things. The time for hobbies and family is much more limited than I have experienced in other companies. Some duty rosters are really questionable and people then try to arrange the duties better and more sensibly among themselves like at a bazaar, you can then suggest changes but sometimes they are simply rejected for some reason. If you walk past the BLT building, for example, there are certificates hanging on the wall, but if you look for them on the Internet, you will see that they are just "trademarks". For example, I can also set up a company to sell survey tools and then give my customers their own "certificates" that look super professional. But the reality was somewhat different. Career opportunities are limited and, in my experience, employees tend to be critical of further training because it reduces their work percentage and increases their own workload. Although they advertise that they support further training, I have had negative experiences of this. In 2022, there was also an incident that was reported in the media. You can research this yourself: the SEV union put up posters at the stops together with the employees because the BLT management had made unilateral changes to the CLA, for example. Of course that's not acceptable! Well, I think that's really embarrassing and I'm glad I no longer have to deal with problems like that.
