Youth for Understanding (YFU) Switzerland is a non-profit organization that has been organizing intercultural exchange programs for young people between the ages of 15 and 18 since 1962. Young people have the opportunity to get to know another culture by living with a host family abroad for a semester or a year and attending school there. We are certified by Intermundo (program quality) and Zewo (financial standards) and are supported by the Swiss federal government.
