As a teacher, you are usually on your own and can conduct your lessons in your own style. The teaching dates will be communicated to you a year in advance so that you can adjust to the widely varying working days. You have the option of sleeping on a sofa bed in the office. Sick days are made up at a later date and are unfortunately not always paid. You work in a small team where the school management makes all decisions and you are the person who carries them out. If there are any problems, students will contact you and you will find a solution with them or try to mediate between the school and them. You can get involved in revising the teaching content, but you are critical of modernization. If you enjoy teaching, this will make up for the salary and the many hours of work.
