This works well in the company

The only positive aspect to emphasize is the team spirit, which makes everyday work more bearable. The core team always supported each other and stood up for each other. They looked out for each other, passed on information, built each other up, divided up the work sensibly and coordinated it well. The employees kept each other reliably informed on a day-to-day basis. One exception is the direct line manager.

This could be improved

The working atmosphere is characterized by very high demands. Unfortunately, there is no appreciation; instead, criticism often dominates. Many employees seem overworked and are close to their limits. Communication from management and head office is inadequate - important information is provided late or not at all. The demands are so high that employees have to constantly overload themselves in order to meet them. After a hard day's work, there is hardly any energy left for private life and there is not enough free time to relax. Those who reduce their work pace to a healthy level face increased criticism. Criticism dominates from direct superiors and upper management - even in areas where the company's own requirements are not being met adequately. Employee concerns, requests or complaints usually fall on deaf ears. Employees feel belittled and not taken seriously. Appreciation and understanding are not evident in words or deeds; profit and efficiency clearly seem to take precedence over the well-being of employees. In 2025, we were forced to take minus hours and make them up at a later date, without clear communication about how many hours would be involved in total and when and how we would have to make them up. Our profession in the pharmacy is based on customer loyalty and trust in the specialist staff. I would urge BENU to put good working conditions for employees into practice, because it is in BENU's interest that customers have satisfied, committed employees. Trust must be built not only between customers and employees, but also between employer and employee. My suggestion for improvement would be for BENU to assume its own responsibility with regard to the well-being of its employees.

Lack of appreciation: The company shows little to no appreciation towards its employees. There is hardly any regular feedback and recognition. Management level: The management does not come from the pharmaceutical industry, which has a negative impact on the daily work and professional competence in the pharmacy. Decisions are often made without sufficient understanding of the specific requirements of the sector. Minus hours: Employees are forced to accumulate minus hours that are to be worked off again at a later date - without clear communication about when or how these hours can be recovered. Poor communication: Communication between the head office and the pharmacies is often not optimal. Important information arrives too late, is incomplete or even incorrect, which leads to additional challenges in day-to-day work. Unclear prospects: There is a lack of clear communication regarding development opportunities and long-term prospects within the company.
