ENESPA AG entwickelte das Spatrol-Verfahren, welches mit Pyrolyse aus gemischten Kunststoffabfällen Rohöl produziert. Diese Anlage wird das Problem des Kunststoffrecyclings lösen. Der Prototyp, welcher aus Kostengründen mit der Technischen Fachhochschule in Sofia entwickelt wurde lief nach einigen Optimierungen problemlos.
Der Betrieb der ersten produktiven Anlage in Deutschland ist gegen Ende 2018 geplant. Die Finanzierung der Anlage ist in vollem Gange und auf gutem Weg.
