The pay is extremely low and disproportionate to the work performed. You hardly see any tips, which is particularly disappointing when you consider that this is often an important source of income in the catering industry.
The management style is very arrogant, which puts a considerable strain on the working atmosphere. You cannot expect flexibility or understanding from the management. If you are lucky, you will find out your work schedule 1-2 days in advance, which makes it almost impossible to plan your own life. There is no warmth or genuine interest in the employees here.
There are countless better part-time jobs in Zurich where you can earn at least CHF 29-32 per hour. My advice: Leave it alone and look for a job that really appreciates your work and pays you fairly. Especially in a fancy location like this.
