Promising on paper, but frustrating in practice
This works well in the company
Employee benefits are attractive, such as discounts on products and partial financial support for sports activities. The management style is relatively flat, with an informal culture and the use of first names, which can feel approachable. The company values are also appealing, especially the idea of making sports accessible to everyone. In addition, the products themselves are of high quality and genuinely enjoyable to sell, which can be motivating.
This could be improved
The organization is in a constant state of change, which creates ongoing chaos and a lack of stability. Management appears to focus almost exclusively on numbers and performance metrics, often choosing to replace staff rather than invest in motivating, developing, or retaining existing employees. Human Resources and managerial presence were largely absent. There was no structured onboarding process (on paper: yes, but in practice: no), very little training, and minimal guidance. The general expectation seemed to be to “figure things out on your own,” which was challenging and discouraging. Finally, the salary did not reflect the level of mental and physical effort required for the role. Considering the workload and pressure, the compensation felt insufficient. This review reflects my personal experience and may differ from others.
