The EAC is responsible for all in-vivo research of the University of Bern and cares for the animals and the infrastructure for conducting animal experiments. The 3Rs (Reduce, Refine, Replace), the "Culture of Care" and compliance with guidelines and regulations are cornerstones of the EAC strategy.
