Could you be the full-time Bonding & Painting special process expert (f/m/d) in Villeneuve we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

In Villeneuve, over 250 colleagues from 15 different countries work together to manufacture and maintain multiple units, locomotives, trams, and passenger cars from Switzerland and other European countries. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life. You’ll report to Lionel Coffe, Methods, Facility & Planning Manager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We’ll look for you to:

  • Coordinate the industrial control (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) of the Special Processes Bonding and Painting during tender phase, product development, industrialization, manufacturing and warranty
  • Design, Industrialize and Qualify the product/process pair as well as industrial means (tools, work instructions, gantt chart, etc ...) to be put in place in line with the design and the project planning
  • Manage industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan
  • Prepare, train and support start of production and lead improvement plan
  • Ensure continuous training and permanent qualification of the production teams and support functions linked to painting and bonding

  • Strong industrial technical knowledge and practical experience (execution, definition, qualification) in the fields of painting and bonding
  • Engineering degree in painting, bonding, chemical or material mandatory, recommended in process engineering and mechanical or electrical
  • French and English fluent mandatory; German recommended
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of Methods, industrialization or Manufacturing Engineering and willingness to work on another industrializations activities (mechanical, electrical, welding, …)
  • Ideally Training and Qualification as: EWF 517-01 European Adhesive Engineer
  • Positive mindset, strong team player and able to build efficient network
  • Willing to take or to grow to a management position
