What to expect

  • You are responsible for a small team of data scientists
  • You develop innovative solutions together with our business units to support our business goals
  • You identify, evaluate and support the implementation of new analytical solutions, in collaboration with business units, IT and relevant operations teams
  • You develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for analytical solutions
  • Together with our data analytics team, you identify and evaluate new data sources and technologies that expand the company's analytical potential
  • You will develop an analytics roadmap as an integral part of our strategic plan
  • You work closely with the Group's data analytics units to generate synergies during implementation

The skills you'll bring

  • University degree or equivalent education in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable degree
  • Several years of experience in the field of data & analytics, machine/deep learning, natural language processing, etc.
  • Experience with complex (international) corporate structures and (international) projects, ideally in the financial services/insurance sector
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to transform complex business problems into analytical solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and leading interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to network and act in an entrepreneurial, service and customer-oriented manner
  • Fluency in German and English
