Private Equity Intern

Syz Capital is an independent Swiss alternative asset manager founded by a group of entrepreneurs. Their mission is to provide investors the opportunity to invest alongside the Syz family in hard to access resilient opportunities throughout private equity, legal assets and hedge funds.

The private equity division is looking for an intern to support the investment team across indirect private equity investments, starting in September 2024.

  • Review incoming investment opportunities and maintain an investment database
  • Support the investment team in research and due diligence of co-investments, fund commitments and secondaries
  • Support the investment team in managing and monitoring of positions
  • Engage in the qualitative and quantitative assessment of investment opportunities, including Excel based financial analysis
  • Prepare supporting documents for the Investment Committee
  • Perform market research and analysis
  • Master’s degree from a leading university in either Economics, Management/Business Administration, Finance or Engineering
  • Relevant working experience (Private Equity, M&A, Transaction Services or Consulting)
  • Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn
  • Excellent capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Fluent in English and at least another European language
