Project Manager
The Project Manager will be part of the Professional Services Division, under the Solera Data Consulting Department.
The Project Manager leverages a strategic approach in the scoping and delivery of projects in the Professional Services space. As part of the Professional Services Division, the Project Manager will work very closely with the 3 sub-departments within the division: Implementation, Configuration, Training, as well as with Sales Stakeholders in the identification and qualification of additional opportunities for Solera.
The Project Manager will be customer facing and will deliver value at multiple levels as per the below responsibilities:
Role & Responsibilities
Defining Solera projects in terms of scope and deliverables, creation and maintenance of project documentation, development of plans and allocation and management of resources.
Project monitoring to analyse and mitigate risks throughout project lifecycle. Setting timelines and milestones, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing the progress of project.
Working closely with the account teams within Sales to identify and qualify additional business opportunities for Solera and to deliver one unique Solera value proposition.
Supporting clients by identifying customer needs and pain points, leveraging opportunities to upsell new Solera projects and consulting services.
Facilitating communication to project stakeholders, including reporting and project status updates.
Providing intellectual leadership for the team and ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget, working with the other Solera teams (internally and externally Professional Services).
Driving decisions to ensure the success of projects considering timing, risk, functional requirements, and Solera business benefits.
Identifying change requests outside the scope of the client contract to increase Solera revenue.
Key competencies:
Proficiency in Project Planning – ability to work with a project team to create a detailed project plan and resource plan from rough order of magnitude documentation
Effectively communicate and present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner to all organization levels
Ability to effectively manage communication across various stakeholders and departments
Proficient in use of Project Management tools and software such as JIRA, Confluence
Excellent problem-solving skills
Minimum qualifications:
University Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Native or Business fluent German, speaking and writing
Fluent in English, speaking and writing
7-8 years of global working experience in Project management and global transformation programs in OEM / IT / Insurance sectors.
Strong experience in a customer facing role
Strong experience with structured project management methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred qualifications:
Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
Experience with XSLT /XML, SOAP API
Agile / SAFe certification
