SPORT CLUBS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT COORDINATOR - Fixed term contract - 7 months

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the governing body of motor sport and the federation of the world's leading motoring organisations. The FIA is an international non-profit association.

OVERVIEW:

Under the management of the Head of Sport Clubs Development and Education, the Sport Clubs Development Project Coordinator is responsible for the administration and project coordination for the Sport Clubs Development Strategy and Accessible Motorsport projects, supporting the delivery of Sport Development Committees and Commissions and implemention of Sport Development Outreach programmes. The Sport Clubs Development Project Coordinator cooperates with colleagues in the Sport Club Liaison and Regional Empowerment pillar, FIA Sport Business Units, FIA Member Clubs and FIA Experts to help with the implementation of their missions. This fixed term contract is a maternity leave replacement of a duration of 7 to 8 months starting as soon as possible.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

1. SPORT CLUBS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY:

  • Needs analysis and recommendations:

•Administration, project management and delivery of the FIA Sport Club Development strategy

•Maintenance of required record keeping

•Communication with stakeholders to liaise on relevant topics, e.g. Sport Clubs Liaison

  • Tailored development plans:

•Administration of the deployment of solutions in line with the

outcomes of needs analysis and recommendations

•Maintenance of required record keeping

•Communication with stakeholders to liaise on relevant topics e.g. Sport Clubs Liaison

2. ACCESSIBLE MOTORSPORT PROJECTS:

  • Project management and administration:

•Liaison with required stakeholders to ensure common alignment and

understanding regarding the concept strategy of the Accessible

Motorsport Projects

•Project management of Accessible Motorsport Projects (e.g.

Motorsport in a Box, Road Car Sport) aligned with project concept

and departmental objectives

3. SPORT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTESS AND COMMISSIONS:

•Provision of the secretariat function for meetings per year

•Support of the strategic alignment of the Committees and Commissions

to ID needs and check/challenge proposed solutions against these

•FIA Volunteer Awards

•Volunteers and Officials Weekend

  • Support of the:

•annual issuing of licensing for FIA Officials

•additional outputs from the Working Group

4. SPORT DEVELOPMENT OUTREACH

•Development and delivery of the FIA Immersion Programme, VP

Immersion Programme and FIA Sport Webinars: creation / stakeholder

liaison / promotion / recruitment and selection / administration and

record keeping / evaluation / regional feedback / reporting /

back-of-house function

PROFILE:

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (sports management, international relations, etc.) or equivalent work experience.

•Knowledge of the motor sport industry and ASN/ACN networks.

•Understanding of key sport development principles is desirable.

•Knowledge of Salesforce and Indesign would be a plus.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office package.

•Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

•Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

•Excellent administrative skills, particularly regarding project management.

•Fluent in English. Additional languages would be a plus.
