SAFETY EQUIPEMENT & HOMOLOGATION ENGINEER - TRAINEE (Geneva - Switzerland)

** INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT WITH A UNIVERSITY MANDATORY

For the Safety Equipment and Homologation Group, we are looking for a trainee to provide support for projects related to the research, development, and implementation of safety equipment regulations for driver, vehicle and circuit hardware safety.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

Assist with establishing new safety standards, procedures and regulations, performing relevant background research and literature review.

Support the development of prototypes hand-in-hand with safety equipment manufacturers.

Provide assistance to the Safety Equipment and Homologation Group, for tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Drafting safety standards and safety regulations
  • Supporting the assignment of new homologations
  • Preparing post-homologation tests
  • Analysing homologation test reports
  • Data analysis
  • Preparing and attending internal and external meetings

PROFILE:

Degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline on-going.

The trainee will have to provide an internship agreement delivered by his/her University.

Ability to understand international technical standards.

Sofware : CAD, Microsoft 365, VBA coding and MATLAB experience would be an advantage.

Language : Fluency in English, other language would be an advantage.

Team player with excellent communication skills and an anlytical approach.
