Technical Integration Consultant
Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Integration Consultant. As a Technical Integration Consultant, you will own and drive the technical integration discussions with various a You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization. A passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with excellent communication skills and business acumen are critical to a Technical Integration Consultant's success.
What you'll do:
- Conduct workshop / presentation for technical team of affiliate partner on EPS Rapid API
- Communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customers
- Give practical advice on the use of EPS Rapid API to affiliate partners
- Identify best practices and proactively share the best practice with affiliate partners
- Analyze and troubleshoot highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutions
- Collaborate with the Level 1/2 support team with complex escalations that require direct contact with top partners
- Support affiliate partners in Europe
- Engage in pre-sales activity with the sales team and propose solution to meet partner needs
- Proactively helping the Business Development and Account Managers to identify opportunities of new product offerings
- Perform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementation
- Able to manage and prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent related professional experience
- 2-4 years of experience in coding and software development
- Proficient at multiple programming languages including SQL
- Experience in Restful API and database schema design
- Comfortable using enterprise resource management programs and tools.
- Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plus
- Experience in AWS and/or Azure a plus
- Pre-sales experience, working with sales and business partners a plus
- Fluency in English is a must
- Available for up to 10% travel per year
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Good sense of business acumen
- Ability to deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issues
- Ability to communicate technical specifications and troubleshoot without supervision
- Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
- Familiarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume web sites
- Bias to action around identifying opportunities of improvement
- Focuses on priorities that matter to the business
