Our Team an Mission

Data analysis, modeling, software development and real estate market research come together in our business unit DAT (Data, Analytics & Technology). With many years of experience as a leading real estate consulting company, we ensure that our carefully maintained data are converted into valuable insights and recommendations for action and are made easily accessible to our customers via our state-of-the-art applications.

To expand our sustainability models and products team, we are looking for a Sustainability Analyst who enjoys conceptual work on models and brings programming knowledge as well as an interest in real estate and its effects on the environment and society.

Your area of responsibility

Participate and support our model & analysis team by working on the following topics:

  • Support the development and maintenance of greenhouse gas emission calculation models for real estate
  • Contribute to integrate models into products and services in collaboration with software developers
  • Support clients in the process of greenhouse gas emission reporting
  • Research and process new data sets in the area of sustainability in real estate
  • Support with specific thematic or regulatory research in the Swiss and European context
  • Assist with writing studies and publications

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Natural Sciences with knowledge in building energy performance assessment; a PhD or previous research experience is valued
  • You enjoy designing, implementing, and maintaining models as part of an agile software development environment
  • Good programming knowledge in R and/or Python; first experience in CI/CD pipelines using git and Docker is recommended
  • A keen interest in the real estate field and its effects on the environment and society as well as an interest in real estate markets, statistics and data analytics in general
  • You have a high level of self-organization and like to taking responsibility for your areas of responsibility
  • Excellent interdisciplinary communication skills in English and German; French is an advantage
