We are seeking an experienced HR Staff Partner to join our HR Department. As a Staff Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisations strategic goals by providing for the staff of the school access to training in HR policy, practice, and processes at the school. You will collaborate with different departments to provide guidance and support on various HR matters ensuring compliance with policies and you will consult with all employees to provide daily HR guidance, so as to build a culture of care and transparency.

 

Specific Responsibilities 

Role:

  • Building culture and engaging staff by consulting with our staff to provide daily HR guidance
  • Bring best practices to the workplace by resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing grievances.

  • Participate actively in policy development and design by working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Increase transparency by providing HR Policy guidance and support.

  • Be future-focused and ready by monitoring and reporting on workforce and succession planning.

  • Challenge ideas and practices by suggesting new practices and improvements in HR systems and operations based on employee feedback. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships across the HR function to ensure all transactional, operational and other needs are managed in a timely and seamless fashion – liaise with HR colleagues as necessary to resolve issues or queries

  • Manage and guide the delivery of specific staff performance actions as decided by the Head of School and/or CHRO

  • Contribute to developing HR metrics and dashboards to generate valuable data insights for the school to identify trends as they relate to employee life cycle

  • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives

  • Collaborate with department managers to provide guidance and support on HR-related matters

  • Support in the recruitment and selection process, including job ads, candidate screening, and interviewing

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, including employment law and employee benefits

  • Develop and maintain employee relations programs, promoting a positive work environment and resolving conflicts effectively, coaching staff where appropriate

  • Manage and monitor employee performance, providing guidance to enhance productivity and engagement

  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable practices

  • Consult with Employees and provide daily HR guidance

  • Work closely with the School Executive to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

  • Montior and report on workforce and succession planning

  • Suggest improvements to HR systems and operations based on employee feedback 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience as an HR business partner or similar role in the education management industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
